gangrene and dairy cows.

So, after having tried for a half hour to figure out what the hell my email and password was for this stupid blog AND the password to my hotmail email, I realized that I had it written down on a post-it on my desktop.  Oh damn.  I suppose that happens, though, right?

Guess who was supposed to go see U2 tomorrow night?! ME, but unfortunately, the fella I was going to go with decided to go and get the muscles in his leg all cut up so he can hardly walk or stand for twelve hours.  That's totally his fault, right?  Nah, but still, it's horrible timing.  I'd feel too awful going without him, so we're selling our lovely tickets.  Instead, my parents will be having a blast listening to Arcade Fire and U2 while I'm at my grandmother's, knitting or something like that.

I was at a dairy farm yesterday and it was really quite fun because I've loved cows my whole entire life.

Those are two of the lovely new friends I made <3 .  I really do adore them one hundred percent.  Unfortunately, I probably won't be going back up to that place for a while, so by the time I get back, cows 391 and 399 may be somewhere else.  No worries, they're female so they won't be slaughtered by the thousands.

Have a great night, my one follower!

Heart Skipped a Beat

One of my favorite things a person can do to me is ditch me when we've made plans.  I absolutely adore it.  The sentence "My friend here is more important to hang out with than you" really warms my heart.  It sends me shivers when I get a facebook message explaining why they're incapable of spending the day with me.  Another one of my favorite things in the world?  Excuses.  Excuses are just beautiful, so beautiful.  It doesn't matter to me if the excuse is completely and one hundred percent unbelievable, I still love it with every inch of my body and mind.  For real.

Urgh, okay.  I needed to get that out of my system.  If you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly being perfectly honest in the above paragraph.  A buddy of mine told me that he was going to come swimming with me today, and that he would call me at 11AM for the plans.  Well, two hours after 11, I finally got around to checking my facebook.  Guess he sent me a message about how he's too busy with some chick he "apparently" made plans with.  He had no idea.  She just showed up.  ALSO, it's apparent that he was going to make up some excuse anyway.  Oh well, I guess I deserved it for some reason?  Perhaps that's it.

Now that my complaining is over, I can really address an important part of my day.  I discovered an amazing remix of a song.  It's a great version of Florence and the Machine's You Got the Love.  This remix is done by a band I'm  obsessed with called The xx.  I really think they should be more popular than what they are.

It's hard for me to finish a blog post.  I've thought up of nearly a dozen of them in my head, and none of them seem to work right.  I guess I'll leave you with some great lyrics by The xx. This song is called Heart Skipped a Beat.

Please don't say we're done / when i'm not finished / i could give you so much / make you feel, like never before / welcome, they said welcome to the floor / it's been a while / and you've found someone better / but ive been waiting too long to give this up / the more i see, i understand / but sometimes i still need you / sometimes i still need youx2 / i was struggling to get in / left waiting outside your door / i was sure / you'd give me more / no need to come to me / when i can make it all the way to you / you made it clear / you weren't near / near enough to me / heart skipped a beat / and when i caught it you were out of reach / but im sure, im sure / you've heard it before.

extramarital sexual relationship;

I do suppose that this is my blog.

WARNING:  This will not be interesting.  If you're actually taking the time out of your day to read this, you will grow increasingly more bored with each passing moment.  Though your physical health is not at risk, your sanity sure is.  Read at your own risk.  You have been warned, my kiddies.

Now that that warning message is out of the way, I can introduce myself a little bit.  Not too much, though.  I don't have THAT much time on my hands.  My name is Carly.  I'm not a painter, writer, actor or photographer, but of course I do enjoy experimenting, (insert winkyface, right right?).   Especially with photography.  That image we've got here is something I took.  It's not much, but it's something, right?

This blog will mainly contain my thoughts.  Obviously.  That's what blogs are mainly for.  Perhaps I'll talk about movies or books or dogs or sandwiches.  You'd have to stick around to find out.  Not quite sure yet why I'm starting this blog.. Or maybe I am sure.  Who knows, right?

Goodnight, lovelies.
